I know guys have bought stocks for their rifles out of the States,,,,,i.e.. Boyds, McMillans, etc. What is the process for doing this? Do you have to use a broker? How much are these brokers if that is the way you have to go. The stock I'm looking to get is a couple of hundred. Any info would be appreciated.

Boyd's have the export licenses in place. You order, they ship it to you. Brownells ships to Canada too. Not sure which other companies do.

Redhawk rifles in the US; they have shipped a few stocks to me, never any problem. Less than a week for shipping to BC. With the exchange rate plus shipping a B&C stock will work out to a similar price prophet river charges, if they have it in stock (no pun intended). Even had customs open them, again no charges or any issues. Redhawk will actually make out the printed invoice for something like like 150 for shipping and 100 for the stock...that way the export value is 100 or less, although I don't think there is a need for them to even do that anymore...
