Importing Firearms from the USA?

Is it possible to import a firearm from the USA using a Canadian broker if they exist?

There's very little available Stateside you can't get here without any fuss. Having a firearm imported will cost you a pile of money too. Nearly as much as the cost of the firearm here in some cases.

'Bin der don dat... More than once. I think the last time it cost me an extra $100USD. That' it.

done it a couple of times. you need to find a US dealer who can export. you can do the rest of the paperwork. takes a while though. some stuff you can't import- rifles with barrels below 16" for instance

I'd disagree..

Thyere is waaayyy more available in the USA than here.
Hell, I know a guy who couldn't find a dealer in Canada who had a Savage 10FP in stock... Oh sure, "We can order you one", but "No idea when It'll get here".

'Had it in a few days via a US FFL.

'Same guy couldn't find a particular Para Ord. pistol in Canada... Again, 'took a couple of weeks, but he got what he wanted via the same US FFL.
