Importing garand parts kit from Europe

Does anyone know of a source for parts kits. So far I have a stock set, barrel and receiver. I want to avoid the expensive US kits if possible. Anyone have a website or source?

There used to be a guy in Italy on evil bay selling lots of garand parts...

Buying parts one at a time is going to be very expensive! You can avoid a lot of the hassle by posting WTB ads on the Equipment Exchange. Some Gun Nutz will have every piece you need, and it won't have to cross any borders.

BTW, which maker of Garand receiver and barrel do you have?

That's why I was after a parts kit. From what I understand Europe mostly controls the barrels.

I haven't looked at it in a long time. I think its breda.

Then maybe people have left over parts or maybe in europe

Try Marstar here, they've got a bunch of parts, maybe not everything, but start there.

Was able to find him after some quick googling. Looks like hes been out of parts for the better part of ten years. Maybe I was too optimistic with this.

There are still some sellers on evil bay selling from Italy.
Pretty much all garand parts are pretty expensive these days.

I noticed that parts from all sources are getting scarce and more expensive.
Receivers now are almost the cheapest part.
