The exporter must be registered and licensed by State. The manufacturer must be registered with State. The export must be declared and/or approved by State.

If you order from Brownells and item you want isn't legal to export for any reason they won't send it to you so don't worry about that. To show how ridiculous it can be I tried to order a set of Majestic Arms grips for my Ruger 22/45 pistol and they couldn't ship them as the manufacturer didn't have their export paperwork. Talk about a risk to national security and/or a weapon of mass destruction, wood grips for a 22 pistol.
That said I have bought S&W M&P mags from Brownells with no problems at all.

I have ordered a pile of 10 rd mags for my Beretta 380 prohib with no problem from Numrich, and they will ship to $200. Just so you know tho is that Numerich has a $24 surcharge for international orders, so I just make sure I use up the full $200

Do I just place the order and wait, or is there more to it ??

Yes. You can just place your order and wait, if you want. There ain't nothing to it but to do it. In time, you'll receive the order invoice. If anything from your Brownells order had to be canceled, it'll be noted on the invoice. If anything from your order was canceled, and you don't understand the reason for the cancellation, just call Brownells for a clarification, and they'll explain it. If there is "more to it", that is when whatever might be required from you - the next step - will become clear to you. (Sometimes, it's as simple as discussing shipping and/or packaging options. Other times, you may require an IIC.)

Just ordered 3 factory 10rdrs for my xd from them 86$ in total not including shipping , that would have cost me about 130 before taxes here !

Time to sit back and wait ,

i have ordered lots of gun parts and mags and stocks from the states, the general rule of thumb is it can not be over 100 dollars in value not including shipping or it will be stopped at the border period!!! unless of course it is non descriptive and it goes unnoticed???? i have purchased far too many items from the evil southerners and i have found they tend to make up #### as they go!! the customs people allow things to go through on a how i feel today basis but on a good note buying through a store generally leads to a fairly positive transaction
