Hi. New to gun nutz, so first question. I can get a $30.00 flash hider for an M14 from the US. Can it be legally imported for my Norinco 306?
Cheers.

Importation into Canada is one issue. Should not be a problem.
Exportation from the US is another and separate issue. Could be a real problem.

"...The company feels it is no problem..." Hi. They're confused. M14 parts, of any kind, are restricted for export by the U.S. government. M1A parts are not.
May not be easy to install on an M305 though. Some of the M305 flash hiders are permanently installed. You may have to break a weld.

simply ask them if they have a valid state department issued export liscence for firearm parts and accessories...... if they don't , and they ship to you, US laws are being broken...
if the part is a flash hider and it is advertised as for the m14 , then it IS a controlled part in the US and is NOT legally exportable period. Muzzle brakes are not under the controlled list and are exportable..... the US views flash hiders in general as a "military" rifle part and not for civillian export.

Dasan Machinieries (Korea) and Wayne Machine (Taiwan) manufacture M1A parts including muzzle attachments, just FYI. One or both companies are likely the source for keepshooting.com. I hope it works out for you Gents.

Company is called Keepshooting.com. Hopefully they'll ship as M1A part...
$29.99 USD.

if you have any troubles, email me..... I do have several, correctly machined, as new, take off chinese bayonet lug flash hiders. I think i have 3 or 4
