Importing optics from the Balkans... Zrak optika that is.

I think my obsession with acquiring Zrak optics has reached critical mass. I have been drooling over these for the longest time now. When I can now afford them, the supplies have dried up. so I guess I will have to be patient and pay out the azz... Or maybe not.

After much searching I have found a source for these. Bosnia itself, waiting to be sold. But there are many obstacles to overcome. For one, I do not speak Croatian. And if he/she does speak English. It will be fruitless to try and convince a Bosnian to get a exporting permit for one lousy sale.

So here lies the question. Does anyone know of any information or tips on how to make this happen. Or maybe you know someone who does import work... or perhaps speaks Croatian. Anything.

The only thing I can think of is giving the guys at Marstar a call. I believe they have a Bosnian connection that could help me out... for a price I suppose. They are the premiere Yugoslavian firearms importer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I read/write the language fluently, msg me if you need something translated or w.e. Don't have any Bosnian connections for you unfortunately

Um... Do you just join this forum to answer my post? Anyhow... Translation is not much of an issue. Finding a source to purchase and export these items is the main problem.

no I joined cause I like guns.
" or perhaps speaks Croatian. Anything."
You asked for the help, thought i'd offer it, good luck getting your optics.

Sadly ZRAK seems to be finished as an exporter. There are a lot of political and religious issues around that, which I don't need to go into here. I too liked their stuff a lot, but other than used pieces on ebay you're not going to find it outside the US, and it's impossible to export from the US where most of it is!

You could message PA distributing in the states:

Or get lucky with E-bay like i did when i bought my Zrak stuff. I also speak Serbo-Croatian (Yugoslavian) fluently, but my writing is not the greatest.
