Hi all,

I panic purchased a CZ P-09 and have not had any luck sourcing mags anywhere in Canada. When I tried to buy from the states they say its export restricted.

I checked the RCMP website and it says Importing gun parts is not a problem so I found this website https://www.cz-parts.com

Has anyone on the forum purchased from this retailer before? Their about page says they are based in Czech and they do export to Canada.

I always order something small and if I get it I buy more stuff. Border rips it apart pretty much every time.

You will have a hard time with mags and many other things.

Importing is not the problem, EXPORTs are illegal from the US without the expertise and knowledge of what is allowable.

Use Irunguns and hopefully they have in stock on their US site.

Mags especially need to be pinned or can be a prohibited device in Canada.

There are a few steps to create an account, purchase in USD. Then every 15th of the month they do an import. You will get a new invoice for GST and shipping within Canada.

I just did 4 glock 19 mags from them and it was great. Took about 6 weeks before they were in my hand (faster than the transfer approval!)

Nice, thanks! I ended up buying from the cz-parts website after googling and a lot of cz forums said they had no issues ordering from them in the past. I’ll report out what I find!

the problem lies in if they have an export permit or not if not, they and you are in violation of ITAR look it up yourself some pretty significant jail time and fines are possible for violations not to mention possible lifetime ban on us entry which includes flying over it

CZ Parts is located in the Czech Republic. Nothing to do with US rules and ITAR.

I bought 3 x CZ P-09 magazines from Accuracy Plus 2 weeks before.

Just make sure they are 10 round mags. If they aren’t and somehow get through the border, you should rivet asap or disassemble until someone else can rivet.

Thanks all for the input. Finally got my mags from the website. The vendor was very good and shipped them out but the mags were stuck in customs for a month due to UPS not sending the proper documents to clear customs.

After weeks of headache with UPS and having to go to customs at the airport got the mags.

You bought them all then because there was nothing left. I checked every vendor in Canada and there was no stock. I even went as far as to message people in the classifieds to see if they would part out some used mags
