"Improving" T/C R55?

JARD offers a wide range of trigger upgrades that lightens the pull down to as low as 24oz. There is also someone on RFC that will take most of the creep out of the trigger for a reasonable fee.

That's about it as far as aftermarket upgrades but the R-55s are excellent semi-autos right out of the box that they don't need much improving in my view. I enjoyed my first R-55 so much that I bought 4 more when I heard they were being discontinued.

Good, rings, a good scope and CCI standard ammo. You'll be shooting 1 moa at 100 yards. Just make sure the stock/receiver is torqued down properly. The R55 doesn't need any mods to make it good. It was the most under rated semi auto 22Lr on the market. Most of us who own one or more of them rave about them for a reason.

^^^ This. Mine arrived from the factory a bit loose.

I taught my nephew how to shoot and started him off with the R55 with a decent scope and on a bipod. He got bored quickly when all he had to do was put the crosshairs where he wanted and pull the trigger. Instant little hole where the crosshairs were. That lasted about 15 mins before we moved on to a different gun. :)
