So I just sold my tack driver of a 10/22 to buy a couple of pistols. Instead I bought one pistol and just made an impulse buy at P&D. Now I have an ISSC MK22 on the way. Hopefully all the kinks have been worked out of this design by now. I just wanted a fun little plinking rifle. The 10/22 wasn't getting much bench time as I mostly go plinking in the bush and the local gravel pits. I guess time will tell if I made the right choice or not...

The price of mags scared me away from the mk22. Plus there isnt any aftermarket stocks.
P&D are awesome and I know if you have any issues. They will help you!

I was tempted by a video pitched by westrifle & corwin-arms promoting the armed shotguns and before I knew it an armed sash 2013, 20ga shotgun appeared on my cc. It looks like fun. Practical? I doubt it, but who knows - for a hundred and sixty bucks plus shipping and taxes ($204 all in) its probably worth the impulse.

Hmm.. spare mags, hadn't thought about that one. Like I said, impulsive! It was only $550 at P&D and I happened to have some spare cash...

Thinking about optics now. Probably won't scope this one, perhaps a TRS-25? I want to keep this one pretty basic. It will pretty much only be used for plinking at the gravel pit.

Just got a mk 22 a couple weeks ago and man fun stuff my friend have about 500 rounds through it and only a couple of minor feeding issues I'm sure it eas the Remington thunder duds but seems to be reliable have put a few different types of ammo through it and it runs them all congrats on your purchase

The new toy arrived today! P&D was fantastic to order from and it showed up quick. Now I just have to take it out this weekend to see how it shoots. TRS-25 is already on order. If I had been thinking I would have just ordered from P&D at the same time but that's what I get for being impatient.

A question for those of you who have one, is it possible to de-#### this thing without dry firing? I'm guessing as with most rimfires that dry firing can cause damage to the breech face?

Impulse buys are a reality with any interest that you are passionate about... be thankful you aren't into Ferrari's...

At least with guns you can sell them without taking too big a hit in the wallet... and if you buy nice, used guns you can usually get your money back out of it.
