My self in an fnar ..7.62x51...I’m getting 100 fps roughly faster ???
And what about you ?.?

IMR 4166 is my favourite powder for my 308 Win with 150 grain Hornady SST bullets. 46.0 grains produces about 2935 fps at the muzzle on my Magnetospeed chronograph. I am reloading it for my Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 rifle with a 24” barrel. It shoots 1 MOA or less at 100 yards. I use Hornady and Lapua brass with Winchester LR primers.

I load 59.5gr in my 45-70 Marlin SBL with a 300Gr Campro FCP projectile for some fun plinking ... shoots way harder than factory and I'm guessing it's good for a solid 2200fps judging by recoil (didn't bring the magnetospeed).
No pressure signs but it does make a very faint "Smoke tube" all the way to the target at the 25m line....

I tried it (still have some kicking around, I think). I was never able to get grouping with it that I can get with BLC(2) or Varget. IIRC, my velocity readings were pretty steady, though, no matter the temperature or humidity.

are you speaking 100 FPS over Varget or some other powder?

I tested it in 22-250 and 223 and found velocities to be 100 fps usually than what I was achieving with Varget but it grouped better w/ the 22-250 than varget

Yes I’m getting 100fps faster than varget ...I notice it at the beginning on the starting charges .... and from there upwards .....I found it odd but ...probably just me ....and I use 2 weight scales to verify the weight charges my Lyman Gen 6 and my Dillon t3 the last east weight scale .....
