Imr 4320 In Africa?

I have worked up a great load for my 416Taylor with IMR4320 and was wondering if anyone knows if it is one of the powders with a high resilliance to heat/pressure change? It is a compressed load and near max.

I'm worrioed that my testing done here at +15C to Minus 15C might be far from the results I will get if I took it to Africa and fired it at 40C

Not planning a trip anytime soon but might as well find a new load if this one isn't going to work! Any suggestions on a similar burn rate powder with a high tollerance for temp change? Thanks,rugerman257r

I would phone Hodgdon and speak to them directly as they now own IMR. Give them all the info on your load and temps you have shot it at and what conditions you may encounter in Africa. They are great to deal with on the phone and can help you with a minimum of fuss.
 
What time of year and where are you going in Africa. IIn July of this year in RSA it was freeszing at night and maybe 18 C the warmest it ever got.
