IMR 4895 and .270 WIN?????

Has anyone ever tried loading a 150 gr. bullet with IMR 4895 in .270 WIN???
Will it work?

would be much better off with 4350, 4831, or 7828

It will work,m but you can get better results with slower powders. I'd add RL22 to Tods list.

I just reloaded this exact powder with a 130 gr. hornady interlock. Nothing to write home about. Groupings were lame compared with that of the IMR4350 (mentioned above) or H4831. Shot out of a Remington 700 .270 win.
