I see it on Hodgdon's Powder Burn Rate Chart and a recent "Safety Data Sheet", but nowhere else. Sounds like a powder intended to compete with Reloder 33 for the 338 Lapua Mag and other like cartridges.

It will be among the new powders to be introduced at Shot Show 2018:

- For 2018 IMR Legendary Powders introduces IMR-8133 to the Enduron product line for use in magnum cartridges.
- Winchester Smokeless Propellants is excited to announce the release of WinClean 244, ideally suited for 38 Special, 45 Auto & 9 mm standard loads.
- New to the muzzleloading world is the Triple Seven FireStar pellet featuring a revolutionary design utilizing a geometric star shape. FireStar is for use in .50 caliber muzzleloaders with a 209 firing system.

Thanks for the info. Just checked it out and found some impressive velocities for certain cartridges, 30/378, 300 RUM etc.

Looks to be very close to Retumbo in Burn Rate and about the same density. The difference would be that IMR-8133 has the copper cleaning compound and the claimed temperature consistency.

Seems a little risky to compete against your own powder

Can't wait to try it in my 25/06. Hogdgon lists some really big velocities with a 24" tube. I've got a 27" on mine so if the figures are factual I should be very close to 257 Weatherby mag #'s.

Maybe they're getting a better deal from the manufacturer on the IMR8133?
I suspect there are just a few folks in the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" schhol of thought for load development that wouldn't bother changing.

Thats my problem with the new powders.
I like H1000 in my 338 ultra, I wanted to try some IMR 7977 but at close to $15 per lb more I have not changed from H1000 or IMR7828.
If the Enduron powders come down to close to the same price as the old stuff then I may jump ship and try them out
