Imr sr 7625 reloading 30-30

Hi,i want reload my 30-30 win,cast bullet,flat nose 170gr.
Lyman book,show me the load..SR 7625 5.6GR ,BULLET 170GR
Do i need filled the case?,or for that type of fast burning powder no filler needed?Thank you

In my Lyman book of cast bullet loading, they don't even show 7625 powder for the 30-30. The load you list, 5.6 grains, would be a very, very light load. If that is what you want, OK, and I don't think you will need a filler.
But you can load the cast bullets in a 30-30, up to about the speed of normal jacketed bullets.
4198 is a good powder, and my Lyman book shows 27 grains of it with a 170 grain gas check bullet, for a velocity of 2350.
If your bullets are not gas check, you will have to settle for maybe 1,800 fps, with something like Unique.
