I guess I discovered this guy's videos when he reviewed what was my fanciest gun, a Beretta 687 EELL Diamond Pigeon. Anyway, I lost track of the company's activities for a while and just tuned back in on the weekend to find a farewell video declaring that they've officially discontinued their gun shop style videos and have moved on to found a new production company called 'Proofhouse TGS.' Whether or not they'll concentrate on double barrelled shotguns and rifles as before remains to be seen, but anyway here's a cautionary video from them about the the Russian engineered Baikal ij58ma, one they made out of the shop as it were.

And here's a more typical vid, the first one I found as described:

i really liked having a YT channel that concentrated on sporting double barrels and even if they don't produce any more such videos, I trust the old ones will remain available.

They just separated the channel from the gunsmithing business. The video content he says will stay the same. I hope it does it's one of the best review channels

I hope you're right, watching the 'last of' video as below I wasn't sure what they were saying, maybe moving on to doing floor polish commercials or whatever. Which as I say would be a loss.

I’m pretty certain brybenn is right. Jon from TGS was on the Birdshot podcast (ep. 161) in January and explained as much. He hasn’t had anything to do with the store for quite some time apparently, and has shifted focus away from gunsmithing to producing videos. I think you’ll see very similar content, just under the new Proofhouse label by the sounds of it…

And for the best Beretta reviews and info watch Rich Cole videos.
By far the best knowledge of Beretta's.

This review of the Beretta 694 puts all other reviews to shame.

No doubt you're right but I was going by the fact that Jon there looks about 8 years younger than he does now, maybe he uses Grecian Formula or something. Thanks for the referral to Rich Cole.

Watched this vid where Jonny had his Longthorne custom built and fitted and am now reflecting on the fact that almost all of the screen time focusses on the stock and very little or none on the action or barrels or chokes. The resulting stock, or rather stocks, are certainly a little unique looking but the whole thing is really very telling I think.
