Here's my story: I put together a K98k high turret sniper clone. The rifle is a BYF 44, with most of the parts being byf production. Repo mounts, and a wartime production Ajack 4x90 scope. I had the mounts drilled and tapped, and there are dead square. However, the front base is a little bit too forward. This may not be a problem for most mounts, but the high turret mounts pivots into place and currently cannot do that without modifying the rear base. Moreover, the rifle shot very low, so I got a higher rear mount from the manufacturer.
What I need is:
The front base adjected so the scope can pivot into place without the need to modify the rear base.
The front base shimmed so it can accommodate the new and higher rear base.
The new rear turret needs some minor fitting so it slides into the rear scope ring (the old one was hacked by yours truly).
I will gladly ship anywhere in Canada.
