...I bought my wife her first firearm. I'm hoping this will get her out to the range. She has never fired a gun before, so I wanted a .22 for her first trip. The cowboy aesthetic appealed to her, so I settled on the Ruger Single Ten. (Sorry, no pics, Google will bring up a few if you haven't seen it).
I haven't told her yet, I'm going to wait until I can take it home to surprise her. I think she'll be delighted, as long as I don't tell her what it cost. Just like all my guns.

Wife and I were at the range this week and a friend let her shoot a Ruger single 6, her comments nice gun but loading was a pain, she shoots a Buckmark semi auto normally..

But no matter it's still a nice gun. h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1z6v3ed4U4
