In what year did Colt first offer nickle as a finish option on their 1873 SAA?

Here's a question for the cowboys.

I'm trying to determine in what year Colt first offered nickle as a finish option on their 1873 Model "P" SAA revolver? I'm thinking it was early on (if not from the start) but I was hoping that someone could be a bit more specific.

I know they were offered in any number of special order configurations, but I am not sure about nickle.
