Interested,
I’m a new PAL holder but I have recently purchased an M&P15, M&P2.0 9mm and my Mossberg 590a1 should be here end of the week. I’m looking to learn and improve.

I notice there are "Open Practice" days for new shooters but a quick glance makes me think that wouldn't be the first event on the list I could make it to due to my work schedule.
Is it a prerequisite to do an open practice day prior to entering an actual match? I have shot multiple 3 gun matches before but not at Abbotsford.
No we do not require shooters to attend a practice to shoot a match, especially since you have shot matches before. Our practice days are for both new shooters and experienced shooters to get the dust off before a scored match. New shooters will learn how to safely pick up and abandon firearms, learn about the various targets and scoring which can be a mystery to those who have never shot in competition before.
That’s great to hear! Please forward your email to multigun@afgc.ca to be notified of upcoming match information.
