Hey, i have searched, this subject has been discussed here, but last posts date a bit.
I have recently purchased the caldwell chronograph, i am stocked it's working really good its a really nice tool. I got the chrono only, as i already have a nice tool bag to carry in and a spare camera quality tripod.
I do regret not getting the deluxe package now, as no one carries Caldwell infrared LED skyscreens in Canada and i have gotten quotes that go up to 120$ with shipping and exchange rate from US stores.

I am ready to rig something homemade, as long as it doesn't take too much time to craft and really works.
At the range i tried an LED puck setup, worked horribly. And these LED strips that people assemble with a battery is too tedious for me.
I would buy lets say 8-10" LED neons that just plug in, even if they are 35$/ea.

Best bet would be an LED skyscreen compatible with my setup under 90$ budget, but it seems hard to find.

You can buy the whole kit on Amazon with shades for $179 and put your curent one up for sale to someone who does not need the shades.

This may be a good idea if you did not pay too much for your current system.

I was at Home Depot this morning
Found a rectangular light fixture, which has 14 del lights with a total of 4.3W
If i attach one of these on each my sunscreens, is it enough power to get this working right?
It's more expensive than LED strips, but i like the fact that id just screw a rectangular box to the sunscreen and be done with it

As long as it does not damage the sunscreen in anyway and you can return it go for it but I would not bother personally..
