have you seen the bouncing betty in the WTS militaria ?

my question was about the betty is it rare in Canada and what is a bouncing betty value in Canada ?
it look in pretty good shape and the price look right for me , I may buy it :)

It's an interesting item. It appears original, and probably somewhat rare to find on the loose.

Same for the WWII de-activated Russian grenade another member is listing.

I was be tempted to buy these items as well.

I can't comment on price, I guess we will see if they sell or not ;)

I got a ground dug complete mine for $130 over seas. I think for a good one deactivated $300+ and if it is section cut even more. you can buy all kinds of fuses for them on ebay if you have just the pot.
 
im the owner of the Russian grenade, it a nice piece but not a lot of people will be ready to spend that money or trade something for it :) for the betty Im tempted too :)
 
Got a link for this ? Like to compare mine. ;) Primer paint, no mfg marks and three prongs on the detonator. Hook up for a trip wire as well.

Its a little on the pricey side. It also doesn't appear to have a top or fuze either. A complete example in better condition may command that price...

just my 2 cents...
