Wondering if someone can actually settle this, does the franchi instinct L 12GAUGE have inertia or mechanical triggers? I have done so much research and believe it or not some articles say mechanical some say inertia so I’m wondering what the hell?

If someone please has experienced witn these please let me know!

Thanks!

Easy way to tell is put snap caps in and see if it fires both barrels without having to bump the stock to reset the trigger. If it does, most likely it is mechanical.

This is true, I have the shotgun on order I probably won’t have it for a couple weeks, either triggers will be fine for what I need it for this is just me being inpatient to find out. Also it’s a bit odd online there is conflicting answers was hoping someone here might own one

The best simple test to confirm as per above. Now if you want to open up a proverbial can of worms as to which one is best, that question and resultant opinions will make for lively discussion here on CGN.

People are really mis understanding the question, the question is not how the triggers work or how to tell which is what the question is does the franchi instinct L have inertia or mechanical triggers, If I had the shotgun in my hands to test it I would not have made this thread :) I have the shotgun coming in a couple weeks time just wanted to see if I could find out before it arrives as online I have researched and there is conflicting answers.
