Looky that, all the letters here.
Musta pulled hiz britches up for this one........:p

See, beat him up poooolightly and ya darn git sum respeckt....

Browning A-5's are good to go. Keep them clean and set the rings
where they need to be and presto, nice easy working action and
little to moderate recoil.
I can jest see this critter, aim, shoot, pull up the pants, aim, shoot, pull
up the ginch and pants.
Watch that barrel direction during this affair........:D

Dewy, dewy, dewy............f:P:2:

If it was me to decide I will use inertia (currently own both inertia and gas) for hunting condition due to the fact you know it requires minimum maintenance and it will not fail.

Imagine you are going to a one week hunting trip for ducks / geese (Hudson bay?) you are not going to clean your gas gun every evening at the camp aren't you?But I know my inertia will not fail on me if I don't clean it for a week even under the harsh environment.

I can understand some inertia gun might not cycle light load 100% of the times but who use light load to hunt anyway especially waterfowls?

But if I am a trap / skeet shooter than the gas might be more logical / reliable for target load itself.

They all have its own place and and its just a matter of what you use it with and your preference is.

Every now and agi'n sum of youz make me laugh.:p
All in fun eh Dewy??????
Not promot'in the drop the bar of soap though.
Maybe OT is where'z yu shuld be a look'in.........;)

OH! Congressman Weiner, I didn't recognise your distinct twitter prose. Nice of you to join us.

Maybe you would feel more comfortable in the black and green Shotgun forum.

Please.

try to think rationally dear. if u prefer the inertia guns just bcoz of cleaning , it means u are saying no to the reliability offered by gas guns. and i think cleaning also becomes a joy if u love the game (hunting) and the gun

basically i hve both of them................ but i like the gas operated guns more..... the inertia operated guns kick more, bang more but less reliable in cycling lighter loads and u feel burning when ur inertia operated gun fails to cycle an easy over head shot and u feel ur gun as a dead horse d:h:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, wat do u think nutz

I own both inertia and gas shotguns. I have a Binelli Supersport and a beretta AL391 urika. Just recently I had them both at the skeet field together. I had'nt used the Beretta since buying the supersport, so I was suprised to find out that the gas gun kicks harder than the inertia. ( I've always heard the opposite) It was quite obvious after only one round. I was using AA's at 1 1/8oz. I have'nt had reliability issues with either one but the inertia gun is easier to keep clean. I also found at the end of a few rounds of skeet my hands were filthy after using the gas gun but clean when using the inertia. Both guns are nice to shoot but I do prefer the supersport for skeet.

This whole argument Gas vs. Inertia reminds me of the age old debate, Carburated vs. Fuel Injected. They both get the job done and in some situations one is better than the other... good times folks, good times.
