So my Mosin is shipping real soon and I'm excited to meet her. While I don't expect superb accuracy, I would like "minute of pie-plate" from her. Just for the sake of tightening up the groups, I'm considering adding an inexpensive scope.
I'm considering the S&K mounts with a cheap red dot scope (midwayusa.com/product/459296/millett-compact-red-dot-sight-1-tube-1x-3-moa-dot-with-weaver-style-rings-matte) as demonstrated in the Nutnfancy video on youtube.
I'm also considering the BrassStacker mount with a BSA Edge pistol scope (midwayusa.com/product/461634/bsa-edge-pistol-scope-2x-20mm-duplex-reticle-matte)
I like that the BrassStacker allows me the option of switching to irons if I want to, but I'm not particularly keen on the look of a big rail.
Any other suggestions/ideas?
