Hi all.

I was wondering what people are reloading in the 260 remington for the 85gr sierra, 130 class bullets, 140 class bullets, and 155-160 class if any one is using them.

Thanks

Keith

85-100 grain bullets Imr-4064 H-414 Rl-15 or powders of similar burn rates.

120-130 grain bullets H or IMR 4350, RL-19 RL 22, H or IMR 4831

For 140's I like H-4831 or RL 22 you might also want to look at H-1000

Have never used 155-160's as you need an 8" twist or faster and I have a 9" In my mind If I can't get it done with a 140 Partition, I am going to move up to something larger in caliber and power.

As always use published loading information from loading manuals start at the minimum reccomended charges and work up we can never be too safe in this day and age.:D

I really enjoy the 260 Rem it is a wonderful deer rifle and with good reloading and today's components it is on par with the 25-06 with bullets in the 100-120 grain range.

I usually go for Varget or RL15 for bullets between 85 & 108 grain

for the 120-155 grain weights I will use H4350, RL19, H4831sc

4350 is the best powder if you want to use only one type for all bullet weights

I load the following:

95g V-max
100g BT
108g Scenar
120g BT
128g Scenar
129g SST
130g AB
139g Scenar

in Rem and Lapua Brass

H4350 & H1000 so far...soon to try RL19
