Info. Needed Gevarm A3

they are excellent rimfires. fire from an open bolt - no extractor, ejector or firing pin to break! Rarely will you get a FTF because of how the bolt strikes the rim in two places. They are not the most accurate rifles due to the heavy bolt slamming home on every shot. I have a gevarm a6 and the trigger is adjustable using the screw in the back of the trigger housing. These rifles were sold in K mart during the 60's and 70's and are not that common now.

These rifles will eat up any ammo given to it - except blanks and shotshell. There is a weight behind (or infront) of the spring in the action. IWhen the steel tube is behind the spring (back of the action) the rifle will feed regular velocity LR and even some longs and shorts will cycle the action! Put the steel tube into the bolt (in front of the spring) and you can cycle high velocity or even the hyper velocity LR rounds.

A gevarm a3 with the 8 round magazine would probably get about 150 - 250. If you have a 20 round mag as well you can probably double the price!!

If you are selling it. I would be happy to buy it. PM me if interested.

EDIT: Here is another gevarm thread. Some interesting pictures out of an old retail catalouge with the original prices. http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101501
