I bought a 2-7 power Lyman scope from SIR Mail order around 1980.
I never saw a place of manufacture on it. When I saw the brand name in the catalogue I just bought it.
It has never failed me though I have taken it off my primary hunting rifle replacing it with a Leupold 4 power, but I was just curious if anyone else had one and if they know where they were made.
Japan? U.S.A. ?
I wonder when Lyman quit producing scopes in the United States?
