Just West of Eastern Ontario.
I picked up small bipod at Epps a short while ago.It seems to work well and seems to be fairly well constructed.My red flag started waving when I seen the price.$28.49.Its a "Compact 5.5"to 8""made by NcSTAR.t came with 3 different mounting apps.If it holds up I think its a good bargain.Anyone else tryed one of these yet? Thanks.
 
I only have Harris bipods. When two were sent to Harris Engineering the warning was to make certain they are made by Harris as they do not return any competitor version. As to NcSTAR: Never Heard of Them.
 
I have a couple of the NC star bipods. They are ok for the price but I have since replaced them with Harris bipods.

I found that the NC star wouldn't stay tight on the mount and you have to crank them to the point of bending the clamping arms so the bipod wouldn't fall off the gun.
