Info on Finnish M91

I believe I have a Finnish M91 , VKT barrel 1940. I have searched online to try and find the receivers origins but cant pinpoint it , was wondering if anyone had some insight , not a big mosin guy overall really. I know/believe its Russian from what I can gather but hoping someone on here can help with identification further as to exact maker etc.. Its a good shooter and I use it as such , just wondering about its origin , any info would be cool , thanks in advance.

Is there a small c or p in a circle on the side(s) of the tang?

No , nothing on the sides. I took pics of every mark I could see. Usually/a lot of the time there is a maker or year on tang but not on this one.

Probably an undated NEW receiver.

That's a NEW receiver. Definitely. That's a partially struck <-E proof on the top of the Tang.

Thanks a lot for the info guys. New England Westinghouse receiver, stamped and forced matched to barrel by the Finns then.

All Finn made m91 barrels are on recycled receivers. The Finns had enough receivers and never made any. It's as matching as a Finn m91 gets.

All things considered,the Finns did a remarkable job repurposing, and recycling mosin parts into the best of the mosin variants made...nice VKT btw..
