I was unable to find on the S&W site if the .40 kit is a DA/SA pistol and what the trigger pull is for weight. Also does anyone know if the kit can be bought with the ambidextrous thumb safety.
Left hand shooter and finding my options for safetys and mag releases are pretty limited in .40

S&W lists the gun as Striker/Fired Double Action Only. ..."Because the striker is only 98% cocked prior to the trigger being pulled, Smith and Wesson classifies the M&P's action as "striker fired (double action only)". You can get optional ambi safety but good luck trying to get one. Most of the M&P's sold in Canada do not have the optional thumb safety. Mainly because it already has the trigger and internal safeties like the Glock pistols.

Stock trigger pull I believe is around 5-6 lbs, although I've heard some sources say 10. Before I put the Apex parts in mine, my finger-o-metre tells about 5-6lbs.

I'd say mine is right around 4lbs or slightly less with the apex parts I got from you. Definetly noticed an improvements in groups as well as virtually no swaying from the front sight when trigger releases.

With the kit you installed, I was seeing 3.5#. The FSS took me back to the 4# mark. Either way, a huge improvement on the factory trigger!

Yup definitely a must have for the M&P. Never was much of a trigger snob before, but now having a couple handguns with great triggers its hard to go back. I might get a trigger pull gauge to see what it's at and how accurate my finger-O-metre is but your probably right around the 3.5# mark.
