info on Schmidt-rubin 1911 carbine in 3030

Hi i have what i believe is a Schmidt-rubin model 1911 carbine made in 1926 from what i could figure out,caliber is 30 30,i am looking for a mag for this rifle and the rear sight elevation ladder.Also if anybody has any idea how much it is worth or other info about this rifle it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Generally, I have seen about a dozen of these for sale over the last 10 years. The cheapest was $150, the most expensive was $300. No collector value as they are rechambered guns.
 
IMHO, it will cost you more to get it working than it's worth.

The parts you're looking for are available. May Numrich or a European source.

The shoot very well and I've never heard of one having any issues.

Some have claimed that the chamber inserts get loose. I've never seen it happen, although, I recently saw one that had severe erosion in the throat area.

I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a complete rifle. A magazine is going to cost you at least $65, then another $25 for a rear sight.
 
I had one. It was complete with mag. I think I finally got $200.00 for it 2 years ago and that took awhile. I never shot it but I read a lot of reports that they were basically single shots because the mags generally wouldn't feed properly.

Can you post a picture? in 30-30 it is more likely a sporterized 1889.
