I recently acquired (through an estate) a Liege United Arms 16ga side x side shotgun. The only other mark, besides the serial number, is the word "Deluxe". It was made in Liege Belgium. I would say it is in "good" condition. Does anyone know anything about these firearms. I was just wondering the age and approx. value. TC

I'm thinking you'll get better help in the shotty forum...

I've recently seen 1 Leige. 12Guage sxs. Beautiful gun...
Apparntly handmade in Belgium. Form and finish very well respected and, not too common a gun.

The one I saw had a nifty, hand cut, pattern between the barrels...I'd see if you can get this moved to shotty-land as, I'd like to learn more too!

There were many, many shotguns made in Liege for export. They came in all grades, from really indifferent to very fine. I suspect that Liege United Arms may have been a consortium of independent makers. The gun might be quite decent, or it could be a hanger.
Go to Tradeex' website, link in the header at the top of the page, and look through the shotguns. There are many Belgian guns listed, perhaps there might be something similar to yours.
