depends on what you want to shoot, if you shoot trap/skeet, go supersport.

Supersport

Big difference in the Supersport and M4. If it's a clays gun your looking for go with the Supersport

In my hopeless search for the Holy Grail of shotguns my Supersport is currently enroute. Had to look around a bit to find one and wound up buying it from SIR.

Have alrady gone the Beretta 391 route and not a fan of them. Owned a 30" with the mobil chokes and a 28" Optima. Also owned a M1 Super 90 and a SBE Benelli that were a good fit so hoping for the best with the Supersport.

Bad case of shotgunaholic - don't watch the Supersport video on the Benelli USA site :) .

Benelli s/s

Hi rude awakening. I bought one last month, i use it for clays and have only put 200 target loads through it. Its a beautifully made gun,it has a little more recoil than a rem auto. As people say it is much easier to clean than a gas operated shotgun, i just pull a snake through the barrel once or twice and then just wipe out the receiver. Mind you i dont find cleaning gas operated is a chore.

There are several people at our club that own them which led to a problem for me. Last sunday, when i got home and was cleaning up, i noticed one of my new chokes had paint on it. While in the gun racks, somehow chokes got switched, i ended up with 2 imp cyl and no sheet choke. That got sorted out. The bottom line is they look alike.

The only negative thing i could say, is the chokes are marked with tiny stars which are very hard to see. Mine are now all colour coded with paint.

I would recomend the s/s for competition. Hope this helps.

thanks for the input guys!!! i do want to start shooting some trap, and i figured that the supershot would probley be better for that. but i really like the look of tatical shotties though! what to do! what to do!
