Info on the PE90

Can anyone help me out on the Sig PE90. Any info on this rifle would be appreciated!

I think it has a 20'' barrel 1:10 twist and it's good for a 69gr round but can I have a 1:7 or 8 twist so that I could go to a higher grain? Can we opted for a shorter or longer barrel? How are the parts for this rifle? Do I have to go to a gunsmith to do any mods? Where can I get these parts. Do you suggest reloading? What would the ideal load be?:sniper

PE90??? You mean a Swiss Arms sporting rifle. The PE90 is prohibited, as is the SIG550 series rifles.

barrel twist as far as I know is fixed at 1:10. Different barrel lengths are available. I believe the other two lengths are 9" and 16" I could be wrong. Either of the shorter options are restricted. The 20" is non-restricted.

The only mods you might want to do would be mounting optics. There are several mounts available from several manufacturers. Check with The Shooting Edge, Wolverine Supplies, to mention a couple of vendors. You might want to look in the Exchange forum(you need to contact a moderator to gain access). Last but not least. Use the search function. There are many threads on these rifles.

Don't even bother trying to understand the naming system... we all now what it is ;) Just call it a bluestar, classicgreen, blackspecial, what ever.
 
Yes it is, technically, the PE-90 is just a semi variant of the SG 550. And the SG 550 is prohib making the PE-90 prohib. What we have are the Swiss Arms series sporting rifles, Classic Green, CQB etc..

Sorry for saying PE-90 instead of Black special, ClassicGreen or even Precious. I'm still a newbie to CGN. I do know it's not Prohibited (non-restricted with the 20'').

In the search mode, which I did go. You look under PE-90 and poof voila. I did get some info but I was looking for more detailed ones.
