Hi, I'm planning to sell off my Mauser stuff and want to know what I have before I do so.

Two cloth bandoleers with 7 pouches each, one has dark thread on the front, the other has light thread. The thread on the back is dark for both.
The strippers are brass and have no obvious marks on them.
I got the strippers and bandoleers together years ago and presume they are what was left over after the seller used the ammo.

(Igman and mystery Chinese ammo for illustration purposes only).

Any idea what vintage / country these are from?
THanks

The ammo with the brass strippers and the bandoliers, looks like that Turkish stuff...

Loaded quite hot, and super dirty. I wouldn't use it in a Semi Auto...

Without a head stamp, it's tough to be sure though

That bando is Turkish for sure, I have one just like it in my reloading room. As for the ammo like others have stated without seeing a headstamp it's impossible to tell. Although the Turkish ammo I have in the basement (1950's era I believe) doesn't look anything like that. The bullets in my Turk ammo are silver colored and are the original 150 gr super hot loaded rounds. I'll take some headstamp pics and post them.

1942 Turk 8x57 on a stripper, note the silver colored bullets. Not sure if this is how they all are as I only have 10 rounds.

Heres a crappy pic of the headstamp so you can compare.

Just re read post! Sorry misread the part about only the bandolier and strippers. The stripper in the pic about should be the correct turk stripper so I'm not to sure if yours could be Turk or something else?

How WIDE are those Chargers in the OP?

Mauser '98 takes a very NARROW Charger. Chargers for the earlier models were somewhat wider, as was the Charger for the US Springfield.

The wider Chargers for the earlier rifles, or for the Springfield, will not fit into the Charger Guides of a '98.

Figure what MODEL of rifle they fit, then narrow it down from there.
