info on WInchester

just bought a Winchester Model 12 ,12gauge,it is a pump action with a five digit serial number,it has Nickle steel stamped on the barrel ,I am looking for the year of manufacture and maybe value of this gun,anyone??

My Model 12, 20 gauge is 6 # and was made 1918 so your's I think will be an earlier model. Just my thoughts.

5 digit ser#'s date from 1912 to 1915. As per value a plain feild grade model 12 is running form $250 for an average one to $350 for a good one. They are still the best pump gun ever made.
