Info: Replacing XD springs?

Is it a worthwhile upgrade? I really like my XD as is but, I'm one of "those people" who are always tinkering trying to get everything velvety smooth. Who has the springs in stock? Should I get 20 or 22 lbs (I think the stock spring is 19 lbs).

Order a few different wieghts from wolf and have fun experimenting. That's what I'm doing And no I don't have any firm results yet.

ive got the 22lb spring and the stainless guide rod set up. Its pretty stiff, you will notice a big difference in racking the slide. I did. Also the spring is a ##### to put it. Watch it doesn't fly out across the room! I like the stiffer spring but to make it work well I think hotter loads are better. Shooting reloads the slide fails to come back into battery from a weak load once in awile. Maybe the spring needs more time to break in.

I also have a 22 lb spring in my 9mm...works like a charm
