You hit it Bruce. West Hastings. Sorry for the misinformation. I agree with you though. I didn't find it until 1969. It was on the decline by then. A few years later, it changed its address to a corner store a few blocks down and down sized until it sort of withered away. Too Bad, I guess Italian Sports has taken over some of the trade. I miss the mystique of those stores. They were full of guys with great experiences and stories. I met an ex WWII German soldier in there, the day I bought my first P08. He told me how he preferred the P38, because it was a lot more reliable under extreme conditions. He was so interesting, that I bought a pristine P38 and holster for $50. That sounds cheap but at that time, $50 was almost half a weeks wages. The P08 was about 95%, S42, satin blue, in a lovely holster with matching numbers and mags. It was $90. Yeah, I sold both of them when I got into other things. Fool.
