I am looking for information on the MOSSBERG Model RM-7 Sport Classic (1978-1981) rotary mag rifle.

Would prefer to hear from persons who own one or have some experience with one.

The Mossberg Model RM-7 was apparently a rebadged Lakelander/Varberger/Kongsberg, a quality rifle with various models, all basically the same but with changes to the bolt over time. Made originally in Finland, then in Sweden and some in Norway. Around the same time Smith and Wesson was selling rebadged Husqvarna rifles and Ithaca did the same with Tikka M65/M55 rifles. I wonder if Mossberg bought the actions and stocked or barreled the rifles. Maybe they just put their name on already complete rifles from Scandinavia. I would like to know to what degree Mossberg was involved in the design. It looked like an expensive rifle relative to most Mossbergs and maybe this is why it apparently failed to sell in the USA.

I have never seen a Mossberg RM-7 and would like to....

I note that Numrich has parts for the Mossberg RM-7 and a picture of the bolt (with a Win. Mod 70 type 3-position safety), etc. I'd guess its a late Norwegian Kongsberg version of the Lakelander/Varberger. The bolt looks cruder than the Swedish versions. (The Swedish stocks were also nicer than the original Finnish ones.)
