Inforce weapon light

I ditched my surefire for one, was super worried I'd made the wrong choice, but not anymore.

The slant-button isn't a big yea or nay for me, but the brightness options and "mash for strobe" feature make sense to me.

I love that I can flip a physical switch to shift from IR to white light, and that there's a half decent lockout for their fancy button.

The pic rail adjustment is really good on it, as it can fit all kinds of non spec rails.

The inforce stuff is super light, and I haven't had to replace the battery yet.

I'm currently debating whether to order their pistol light or not.

... I should really do a video review on the one I've got ...

Any of the single-mode momentary on-only models make it in to the country yet?

I hear a ton of good things about these lights but the switching system is an absolute no-go for a weapon light IMO. They make a SMMO model now as the result of general user outctry but I have not seen them in Canada yet.

I already have a glock light (GTL22) for my G17 and a TLR-1s for the shotgun and AR... but as I don't want to swap it I need a third on and look for these:

Surefire x300
TLR-3
Inforce

Can't make a choice... the x300 would be great for the high beam and great review, the TLR-3 for the compact factor and the Inforce for the design.

I'm ****ed lol

Its not a SF light, but at the price its a damn nice light. The early ones as mentioned above were not real weapon lights, at least for anything that may be used for duty or home defense.

I know a lot of folks that like the option for perm on, as well as momentary on long gun lights (I'm not one of those), but the varying menu on the early lights was Mind Boggling to the extreme.

The AD blocker does not work for me - but its an idea...

You know I guess I never thought of this but I admit thinking about it now, one thing some users might like about permanent-on is that if you have to cover someone - I mean say you're a cop etc - even a homeowner who's apprehended someone in your house - and you've got somebody at gunpoint in the dark...maybe at that point being able to flick your light to permanent on would be worthwhile.

But cycling through modes by tapping the main switch is big-time derp.
