Inforce WML - Anyone else have this issue with Inforce lights?

My Inforce WML is practically brand new. But since day 1 -- my battery drains after 3-4 weeks (even if I don't use it)

seems to be a known issue:

Wondering if you guys have had the same issue?

Inforce says you have to "unscrew the cap" just so slightly so the battery doesn't make contact, apparently there's a constant draw. I think I'll be sticking to surefire from now on.

Never had any issues just yet.

I have two of these and tested one of them this afternoon. I had this particular flashlight for a month.

Had the first one for a year until the dial bracket cracked; Inforce replaced it with the updated WML for free for me. Another than that nothing else on my WML.

Never had any issues myself - have 10 plus of the Inforce lights and never experienced that issue, contact Rampart to have the issue addressed.

I've been running two of these for quite a while now and never any issue. One of them is mounted on a 12guage sg that has had well over a 1000 rounds through it and have never had an issue. I actually prefer the beam off the Inforce over my Surefire m300a scout light

Although I haven't tried one, it's a highly reviewed light. If you have problems, contact Inforce and they will probably do something for you.

I've got a Haley Strategic version. It's had the same battery in it since I got it (Feb 2013), and I've never unscrewed to bezel to break the contact. Just tested it, still going strong.

The multifunction versions versus the Haley strategic momentary only versions have different circuitry.

From what I understand the momentary only lights do not suffer from this inherent defect because the circuitry is different and it is only a pushbutton activation.

The multifunction versions are a little bit more complex and from what I understand with my minimal education on these kinds of lights is that the switch is always in a connected position not necessarily on but for whatever reason it drains the battery.

I have the Haley strategic momentary only 200 lm model and I have been running the same battery for quite some time now.

I definitely had this issue. I returned it for the 500 lumen version because it's rediculous that I would have to unscrew the cap so it doesn't drain my $12 CR123a battery.... The 500 lumen version has yet to cause me any issue...

They are fantastic lights.. maybe I got one from a bad-batch.
