Sol, I have one (.308), but I bought it brand new from LeBaron in 1987, so not a 'Trac.

I owned an older BAR mark II in 7mmremmag.It cycled perfectly for hundreds of rounds,then jammed twice in cold wet conditions,despite proper maintenance.It was sold for that reason.

I have a Safari grade II and never had a problem. Actually if you are interested I consider selling it. It's like new, made in 1970.
