Hey
I'm on the fence buy or not , looking at the UTS-15 GEN 4 but really don't know if I really want to spend that kind of money on a shot gun.
for those that have it would you mind posting some pics and your good and bad experiences .
I've checked youtube and not many gen 4 reviews, anyways thanks in advance
I have the hatsan pump , wanted to get some input on possible ideas to look at.
No hunting will be done just target shooting
thanks
Glenn.

They seem more like a novelty item than a serious firearm.

I'm sure it'd be fun to play around with I'd personally rather invest that money into some resetting steel targets, at least as much fun and far more useful over time.

"That kind of money on a shotgun"? In general or as a "toy"

I am not an elitist by any stretch but $650 is not a lot on a shotgun in general. It's actually on the very low end. Keep in mind before the recent price restructor these went from $1500 (yes some CAD places still have them at that) to $950 and now $659 black $765 colored. Very resonalble in my opinion and low cost barrel extension and chokes. Light and laser are still laughably high for the quality though.

In terms of what it is its one of the better unique shotguns on the market and I love these kind of guns. The only thing keeping me from buying one today is the lack of lighting options and not willing to pay 50% extra for the factory option (this gun begs for a tactical light).

Happy hunting!

thanks for the input
I just can't decide yet.
will sleep on it for a few weeks then maybe decide on either buy or as stated invest in ammo or targets.
Glenn.

Tough to go wrong with steel targets in any event if you shoot a lot of shotgun.

Shotguns tear up regular targets so quickly, or knock them down, that hanging or resetting steel plates just save a ton of time and hassle.

Just know that it feels and sounds like you're racking a Supersoaker/Nerf gun...

Hahahahahaha
its first thing in the morning and im drinking my coffee and that made me laugh good.
never thought it like that.
on my small few acres I don't have enough room for to throw the targets for skeet so I place on ground or wire holder I made and shoot on the ground. I think I'll stick with my hatsan mp and get more ammo
what steel targets do you think would be good
thanks again.
Glenn.

I don't know anything about brands, but just about any kind of setup where you have reasonably large plates and that you don't have to reset should be good to go.

The only thing you may want to go along with that is a tighter choke, as cylinder bore will normally throw a boringly forgiving sized pattern at the minimum recommended safe distances for shooting steel {10 yards +}.
