Hey guys,
I just bought a Remington 700 SPS in .223 yesterday and I'm looking for a good quality scopre for it. I'm trying to keep this project under $1000 so the scope can't be more then $250, $300 would be tops. I'm planning on using this rifle at ranges from 100 to 300 yards as I have a .308 for longer distances. What would be the best power to use? I'm not too familiar in the area so any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking that 10 x 40 is too much so would 4 x 32 be better in my case? Is fixed better the adjustable at these short distances?
