hi guys and gals as I am just starting my journey into long range shooting and I know Very little about the Howa brand and there rifles what are everyone's feeling on the Northern Elite Firearms Howa 6.5 Creedmore package the more I look at it the package is growing on me. is it a good starter package ? the scope is a Nikkon Stirling Diamond Illuminated scope. 4-16×50 hold fast I have a few Nikkon's in my stable and I am pretty happy with them is the 4-16x50 going to suite my needs as I think I would like to try and get proficient from 800-1500 yds ?

HOWA 6.5 Creedmoor Black/Black 24″ scope included
CAD$1,799.99

As I own mostly hunting rifles I would like to know everyone's thoughts so I can try to make as informed of a purchase as I can any thoughts and info is greatly appreciated by me.

I have a Weatherby Vanguard S2 (223) the barrel / action made by HOWA - very impressed on the quality of the rifle - I have two HOWA's on my bucket list if that doesn't answer your question

You know the scope is nikko sterling brand , not Nikon.
Nikko sterling scopes are no better than average Chinese/taiwan made scopes. I NEVER buy packaged scope combos because they often charge Leupold prices for Tasco quality. I would get a Howa rifle SEPARATELY and buy a scope. You will get way more scope for your money.
