Insite arms muzzle brake will it fit

Hey guys,

I have a Remington 700 LTR with a barrel diameter of 0.858 and am wondering if a muzzle brake of 1.096 will look ok? Any opinions. Also with 5/8 x 24 threads.

My Heathen brake body measures .900" the knurled lock ring is 1.040" Looks and works great on a .750" RPR barrel

I'd get the size smaller, it's .9 something, can't remember off hand without looking, I have one on a .750 barrel now but will be on a .850 soon.

how much of a difference is there really? between .996 or 1.096?

1/10ths of a inch....so quite a bit.

It will likely be fine, the next size down that I have still looks good on a .750 barrel, so the bigger one on the larger barrel, plus as long as you think it looks alright that's all that counts.
