Any of you that have installed one in your Ruger SR9s, can you let me know how much material you had to file off the TCT, the trigger overtravel elimination tab, so the pistol would fire? I've read it's about a millimetre, or
.040", but I'd like to hear from someone who's done it. That would give me some idea of what to take off, so I'm not assembling and disassembling my pistol half a dozen times. Thanks very much for your help!

I have installed one rocket awhile back and all I can say is read the instructions on the web site. There is no set amount to remove it is very small amount at a time and then fit it back into the SR9 and check function. Next time try the ultimate connector instead of the rocket, no fitment and the trigger and reset is great.

The Ultimate is the Rocket minus the trigger over-travel tab...so if you install the Ultimate you'll have a tiny bit of over-travel still. So what is a tiny amount, if I take
a millimetre off the TCT should that be a good starting point? Then a few file strokes
at a time until the gun fires?

LOL TOO FUNNY...I'd guessed that removing a millimetre of steel off the TCT would be about right, and two guys on the Ruger site confirmed it, one even checked with his gunsmith first. So the prudent thing would be to take off just a hair less than a millimetre, polish the edge, then reassemble and try it. At least this gives all of us that are looking at doing this an idea of how much to take off!
