Interarms Mark X in 308

I would like to know if this would be a good gun,If anyone has had one and how they shoot.It looks and feels like a great rifle.Has raised cheek piece and safty on bolt side at top.Who makes it,iwas told it was made in England.thanks

Just had a friend call told me it is a Mauser K98 action imported from Yugoslavia not made anymore but were very good, but expensive gun.(and no he is not selling it)lol

I have a Mark X in 7X57 mauser. It has been and is a fine rifle. My wife and kids use it more than I do.

The Mark X is available as the Remington 798. Same ZCZ product in new clothes.

They are good guns but to say it is "expensive" is a bit of a stretch, they are nowhere near custom gun quality. I would put them in the same league as a Parker Hale which is also built on a post war commercial Mauser 98 action.

They are a Zastava action. They still make rifles in Serbia and are currently being imported by Remington and marketed as the 798 and 799 as noted above. They're great because they are a M98 action, pretty solid and "bulletproof."
