I’ve purchased some Forster neck reamers, but I have a Lyman trimmer. From what I’ve googled, it looks like the shaft diameter on the Forster pilots is too large to fit my Lyman trimmer, but they will fit in a Hornady trimmer.

Can anyone here confirm? Am I overlooking any other problems that might pop up? Thanks all.

I may be wrong on having used Forster in the Hornady, think I have, but, have used RCBS for sure. I have a Forster, a Hornady and an RCBS trimmer, never been fussy on which pilots I used. I did use the Forster the most though, since went to using a 21st Century for the most part, but have the Forster setup with a 6.5 3 way head on it still. Nothing you can't fix with a drill and a file or emery cloth if they are too big.
