I will be commissioning two lengths of barrel blanks per model- at least 12ga standard and 20ga magnum as those are the variants I have but open to doing other action types- one length will be flush with the mag tube and one length will be a couple inches forward of it so it’s flush at the max rearward travel of the barrel. I may make a PolyChoke version available but for now expect to DIY or have it done by your gunsmith if you want that.
These will be expensive. Gunsmith labor is not cheap and the barrel extensions are also not cheap. Shotgun barrel blanks aren’t that bad but still it adds up. I will be shopping around for quotes based on an MOQ of 25 to 100 depending on how much interest I get. At the end of the day it’s a really cool project and I think it’s worth the expenditure. Auto 5s are cool as #### and short barreled ones are even cooler.
All of these barrels will be smoothbore and threaded internally for chokes, probably Invector since that’s consistent with a Browning.
